Introducing B.L.I.S.S. 3.0

It’s been a long time coming, but B.L.I.S.S. is back! After a renovation hiatus in February, it feels good to transition the blog to a new home in this season, covering new topics and more. Since we’ve been gone a lot has happened in culture, Black Love, etc. and here are some of the things that I’ll share with you here:

• B.L.I.S.S. has had a makeover! The lovely and talented Jasmine Morris, Founder of It Is Well Designs, set up this new home for me and it’s been a blessing finally moving on over to WordPress. We are also finally on Instagram so feel free to follow us on there for more Black Love, Inspiration and content for Saved Singles.
• It’s finally been confirmed, etched and burned into my head: the concept of “the One” is flawed. I’ve heard it before, but it took a while to understand it. Redefined TV released a video recently that puts the nail in the coffin.
• It’s okay to have a moment or two that shakes up your own assessment of where you are. As the Lord is maturing me, my pride and motives in my heart have been checked. From trust issues to letting go of control, it’s an ongoing process that I’m learning to better respond to.
• It’s totally okay to be authentically you. I am growing more in that, and want to express more real topics here on B.L.I.S.S. If you have any ideas, email me!
• “The streets is watching.” Good Lord, ain’t this the truth! People were asking about the blog while it was on renovation break. I don’t fully know what or any impact B.L.I.S.S. has made on people, but I believe if it’s inspiring or helping at least one person, it’s worth all of this effort.
• Purpose is so important. Yeah, that’s my focus right now. And I’ve been tested and convicted in this area about focus, my personal walk with God, with being content with where I am and what God has given me to do.
• Lastly, I’m writing my first book…! And while it could have easily been my third, I’m blown by God’s plans in all of this that I can’t give anyone else credit but Him. You better trust God, that’s all I can say right now…but in the meantime you can sign up to get updates on my book “Journey to 30” here.
