Happy February and Black History Month! We have a full month of #SingleGoals2020 features, including our next feature–Bria M. from Decatur, Georgia! In her early twenties, this single woman of God is determined to set a positive example for her peers.
BLISS: Share how you are making the most out of your singleness:
Bria: I am making the most of my singleness by fully embracing this season. I am focusing on healing from childhood traumas, old relationship hurts, and forgiving myself from past mistakes I made.
I fully submerging myself into my relationship with God and focusing on learning more about Him through reading His Word. I am learning more about myself: my likes, dislikes, hobbies, skills, and learning who I am as a woman of God. I allowing for God to prune me of my old self and renew my mind to become the woman He has created me to be.
BLISS: What is one piece of advice that you would like to share with other singles?
Focus on your healing and learn who you are while you single so you won’t settle for anything but God’s best for you.
BLISS: What are you currently doing in ministry or for the Kingdom of God?
Bria: This is in the Christian faith context. You do not have to have an official title in regards to ministry, but share how you are active in the Christian, faith-based community.
I have a ministry called Bria Speaks Life Ministries we currently are revamping, but our mission is to help young women find their identity in Christ and aid them in living a life fully dedicated to Him. We strive to teach, encourage, and correct women of God with the Word of God.
BLISS: Anything else that you’d like to share with us?
Favorite scripture: “A wife of noble character who can find, for she is worth far more than rubies.” Proverbs 31:10
