Candace C. is our next #SingleGoals2020 feature! Residing in Louisville, Kentucky, this single woman of God is in her late 20s and actively doing things she loves. As Candace shared in this post, it’s important that we allow or give room for God to prune and process us for our good and His glory. BLISS: Share how you are making the most out of your singleness:
Candace: “I call this season ‘Redefined Masterpiece.’ I’m allowing God to redefine who I am in Him and be everything He has called me to be! I’m embracing all parts of me and exploring unmarked territories to grow as a woman of God. I am investing in my career as a therapist providing quality service to foster youth to become free from trauma, pain, and hardship and truly embrace who God has called them to be.
I am also spending time with family, friends and church because I believe having a tribe is so important. Also, I spend my time with my beloved sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., from celebrating sisterhood to providing service to our community! Also, I love to learn and do new things and travel to network and meet new people.”
BLISS: What is one piece of advice that you would like to share with other singles?
“Take the time to allow God to reveal to you everything you are called to be. Take this time to invest in you to be better!”
BLISS: What are you currently doing in ministry or for the Kingdom of God?
C: “I serve my church by serving and leading our visitors’ team! We have the opportunity and privilege to make our guests feel the ANWA experience (shout out to All Nations Worship Assembly-Louisville). Also, I provide therapy to those who cannot afford it.”
