Have you ever felt stagnant in life as a result of unanswered prayers and you find yourself stating:
“I can’t do this anymore, it’s time for me to assert myself and make some moves. My dreams, passions, aspirations and goals for life will only come about when I get up and get what I want. I’ve got this!”
And just like that, you begin to make things happen in spite of that small voice continually reminding you of His existence in your life. Even in the midst of the beckoning to communicate with Him and the uneasiness in your soul, you forge forward and continue to ignore the voice. Determination quells that still small voice and that uneasiness in your soul. In the end, your perseverance and hard work pays off as you proudly examine what you did...
No, things did not turn out exactly as you had envisioned. Now you’re finding that life for you is worse than ever. Oh the things we get ourselves into and the mess we tend to make when we choose to cultivate our very own lives. So, in a desperate attempt to ease your conscience, you tell yourself that change is good.
But deep down inside you fully understand that the cause of your misery stems from your refusal to heed to the still, small voice that was continually saying to you:
I do not need your help, just STOP what you are doing. Be still and communicate with Me.
Trust Me, I have already worked things out for you. My plans for you are vast and they consist of nothing but the best because I have “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
If only you would see yourself as I see you and oppose your plan that consists of settling for a mediocre life. I did not answer your petition when you asked because My plan for you is far much greater than the mere quick fix you were seeking from Me.
Nothing I do is one dimensional because I AM GOD and I made this promise: “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Your plan will fail; you will face unnecessary heartache and disappointment that will bring about unneeded misery in your life. Just know, when this happens, I will listen to every word that flows from your lips and your heart. When you cannot stand, you need to be calmed and reassured that everything will be alright;I will hold you close to me. Every time you cry, I will wipe away all of your tears. I will stand firmly by your side every step of the way. Then, when you are still and ask Me to speak, I will speak directly into your soul.
You see, I know what is best for you and what you need because “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending”. I promise to fulfill all of these things for you and so much more because I Love you and promise, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Just let Me lead, as you follow.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” As you follow me, I want you to understand that the life I have in store for you, I tailored it for you, so walk like royalty. Talk like royalty. Act like royalty. Think like royalty. LIVE YOUR LIFE AS A ROYAL AND UNDERSTAND, I AM GOD AND IT IS BECAUSE OF ME, YOU ARE—ROYALTY!
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9
